Sacha Sacket is one artist that I need follow more regularly. Not only is he cute as hell but he's SUPER talented. Check out his newest video for his song "Running Away." It's a beautiful video for a beautiful song. Can't wait to hear more from this talented singer/songwriter. His most recent album Hermitage is available now. Get it on iTunes HERE.

Hot Video Alert: Kylie Minogue - All The Lovers
It's hear and it's gayer than ever! Yes, I'm talking about the new Kylie Minogue video for her single "All The Lovers," off her forthcoming album Aphrodite, due out July 6th in the U.S. The video is set to premiere today online all over the world. My first impression...well...love of course. It's a cool video. Lots of writhing, half naked bodies...kind of a reminiscent of the video for "

Hot Video (and Remix) Alert: Amy MacDonald - Spark
For those of you NOT yet familiar with 22 year old Scottish singer Amy MacDonald, I suggest you check out her first CD, 2007's This Is The Life and the single of the same name (the album's 4th and most successful single). Her new album, A Curious Thing, was released in March, lead by first single "Don't Tell Me That It's Over." Second single, "Spark" was released on May 10th and marks

Jordin Sparks Re-Records 'Beauty and The Beast' Theme for Film's Blue-Ray Release
Imagine my surprise when I saw, in this week's Entertainment Weekly magazine, a "First Look" at Jordin Sparks in the new music video for her version of the Disney Classic "Beauty and The Beast." Sparks' version was recorded to mark the Blue-Ray release of the animated film on October 5th. Beauty and The Beast has always been one of my favorite Disney cartoon movies (if not THE favorite). The
Hot Video Alert: Rihanna - Te Amo
WOW. WOW. WOW. The video for Rihanna's new international single "Te Amo" appeared online yesterday and it's just a little bit scandalous. Ri Ri is playing hide and seek in a beautiful castle, pursued by a beautiful, mysterious woman. Rihanna even gets into some steamy situations with said vixen. No WONDER "Rockstar 101" is the new U.S. single. American audiences couldn't handle this video!
Hot Video Alert: Countess LuAnn - Money Can't Buy You Class
"Well the cats out of the bag! Someone leaked my video!" Countess LuAnn de Lesseps said yesterday on her Facebook wall. Check out the NEW single artwork, above and compare it to the old artwork. She's certainly upped the budget since being signed with Ultra Records. The song is still...what it is but I'm glad there's a video now. Here's hoping we get some remixes! On an unrelated note...

Hot Remix Alert: Michael Bublé - Haven't Met You Yet (Cutmore Video Remix)
I love me some Michael Bublé. I also love me some remixes...so when I heard that the ever amazing Richard Cutmore had done some remixes for Bublé's single "Haven't Met You Yet," I of course did 3 back flips and the splits. This isn't the first time Bublé has been remixed for the dance floors. Previous singles including "Sway," "Save The Last Dance For Me," "Spiderman Theme," and "It Had Better

Dim The Lights, and Here We Go...
Download Lee DeWyze's New Single, "Beautiful Day" on iTunes
The 9th season of American Idol came to a close last night with the crowning of the newest singing sensation, Chicago's own Lee DeWyze. While Crystal Bowersox was originally my first choice to win, Lee may just have won me over in the end. Since the beginning of the competition Lee was definitely a front-runner for me, but a
Versatile Dance Artist Lauren Hildebrandt Releases New Single and Remix EP, 'Underneath'
Have you checked out dance artist Lauren Hildebrandt's new single, "Underneath" yet? I don't know where I was when this was released on May 1st but I COMPLETELY dropped the ball. Normally I'm all up on my favorite dance artists. I remember Hildebrandt's first single, "Burnin' Out" back from 2005, when it peaked at #5 on the Billboard Dance/Club Play Charts with remixes from Mike Cruz, Friscia &
Hot Video Alert: Mike Posner - "Cooler Than Me"

Cyndi Lauper Performs 'Just Your Fool' on Celebrity Apprentice Finale
When I learned that Cyndi Lauper was going to be on Celebrity Apprentice this past season, how could I NOT watch? I loved watching the regular version of The Apprentice since Omarosa was on (and am secretly pumped that it's coming back!) and I watched the first season of it's celeb-reality counterpart. While Cyndi was made to look like a basket case on the show, she was still the highlight for
Release Date Announced For Second Diana Vickers' Single
According to a new blog post, the release date for Diana Vickers' second single, "The Boy Who Murdered Love," from her FABULOUS #1 album, Songs From The Tainted Cherry Tree is July 11th!. The single is due out in the UK digitally on the 11th and July 12th in shops is one of my favorite tracks on the album. Check out Diana's Press Gallery for an exclusive shot from the new video, taken from a
Hot Video Alert: Rihanna - Rockstar 101
I love black and white videos. I love Rihanna. I love this video. "Rockstar 101" is the fourth U.S. single from her album Rated R and features Slash from Guns N' Roses. The single will be sent out to mainstream and rhythmic radio June 1st and is due to be used in promotional spots for the latest incarnation of La Femme Nikita, Nikita, premiering this fall on the CW network. Hot Video Alert: Orianthi - Shut Up & Kiss Me
Orianthi is someone I feel like I should be more into. She's gorgeous. She's talented. She's performed on American Idol. Why have I not yet jumped on the bandwagon? "Shut Up & Kiss Me" is the new single from the mega-talented Aussie singer/songwriter/guitarist and it's a visually pretty cool. I will be definitely be keeping my ears open for this girl. She's someone to watch, for sure.
Flashback Video Alert: Amy Studt - Just A Little Girl
I remember Amy Studt being pegged as England's answer to Avril Lavigne...angry girl pop music. Having first heard of Amy Studt through her song "Misfit," and then "Under The Thumb" I finally got around to buying her album, 2002's False Smiles. I then realized that some people already knew her for THIS, her debut single, called "Just A Little Girl, which was used in some TV promo spots

Hot Video Alert: Enrique Iglesias feat. Pitbull - I Like It
Oh Enrique. Did you really have to associate yourself with Jersey Shore? This is the video for the RedOne-produced new Enrique Iglesias single, "I Like It." It's not bad, but nothing ground-breakingly original. I do love me some Enrique remixes so hopefully whoever remixes this song turns it into a proper club stomper. The single samples Lionel Richie's "All Night Long (All Night)" and
Hot Video Alert: Professor Green feat. Lily Allen - Just Be Good To Green
My only complaint about the Professor Green/Lily Allen video for "Just Be Good To Green" is...not enough Lily Allen! I love the whole look Lily's got going on. The song's aight but the more I see Lily Allen, the more I DON'T want her to go away! What do you lot think of the song/video? The single is due out in the UK on July 11th.
Liza Minnelli Covers Beyoncé on the Sex And The City 2 Soundtrack
Well this is just a little bit genius. The ever-brilliant Liza Minnelli has put her FABULOUS spin on Beyoncé's "Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)" for the Sex and The City 2 official soundtrack. It definitely reminds me of what Dame Shirley Bassey did with P!nk's "Get The Party Started" back in 2006...very theatrical and over the top...but not in a bad way. I would love to see this song get
Artwork Revealed for New Kelis Single, '4th Of July (Fireworks)'
LOVE this. Thanks to my musically-inclined blogger bud MuuMuse for the heads up. "4th Of July (Fireworks)" is the second single from Kelis' forthcoming album Flesh Tone, out now internationally via Polydor/Universal and due out July 6th in the U.S. via Interscope Records. No word as of right now when we can expect the new single's release. Look out for Kelis and Robyn to go on tour later this

Watch Glee's Brittany (Heather Morris) Doin' the 'Single Ladies' Dance with Beyoncé!
AHHH. It all makes sense now. So...you all know that I LOVE Glee. While I have special little places in my heart for ALL of the characters, Brittany (Heather Morris) is fast becoming one of my favs. If you watch the show then you've probably noticed Morris KICKING ass with all of the choreography. Good reason! She's an AMAZING DANCER. Case in point, check out this video of Beyoncé
Hot Video Alert: Robyn - Dancing On My Own
Robyn 'Dancing On My Own' (Official Video) from Robyn on Vimeo.
Robyn unveiled her new video for "Dancing On My Own" and it's a stunner. I LOVE this song! "Dancing On My Own" is due out on June 7th in the UK, followed by her album, Body Talk Pt. 1 which comes out June 14th (June 15th in the U.S.). Look out for a HOT remix package featuring remixes by Michael Woods, Fred Falke, Jakwob, Buzz

Taio Cruz to Release 'Dynamite' New U.S. Single
The second official U.S. single off of Taio Cruz's Rokstarr album is apparently "Dynamite," and not the Ke$ha-assisted "Dirty Picture" which is the Brit's current single out in Europe. I'm frankly a little surprised that "Dirty Picture" isn't the next U.S. single, although maybe the label wants to release a single without any guest vocalists/rappers just to showcase Cruz by himself. That
Introducing, The Stunners
While browsing through new single/album artwork (how exciting does that sound?), I came across a newish pop group called The Stunners. The Stunners are a 5-piece girl group founded by none other than singer/songwriter/producer Vitamin C. Signing a major record deal with Columbia Records only six months after being founded, the girls made their debut with a contribution on the iCarly Season
Upcoming Release - Glee: The Music, Journey To Sectionals
While recent episodes seem to be focusing more on the cheesy story-lines rather than on musical numbers, at least the folks at Glee keep releasing the music from he show for us Gleeks to get our hands on. First, we have Glee: The Music, Volume 1, released last fall, followed by Glee: The Music, Volume 2 in December. More recently, an EP, Glee: The Music, The Power of Madonna was released and
New on iTunes - Natasha Bedingfield, Travis Garland, Kelly Rowland and Miley Cyrus
I just wanted to briefly go over some of the songs that I downloaded from iTunes this past Tuesday. First up....new music from Natasha Bedingfield. Wow. This came as a pleasant surprise! We knew that she was working on new material but I didn't expect a release so soon! I also didn't expect something so...dance-pop. I think it's a great song. I love it! I'm still waiting to hear if this is her
Will Young To Release New 'Best Of' Album in the U.S. and Perform on American Idol Finale
Well this is promising. Since they started using Will Young's song "Leave Right Now" as the contestant exit song on American Idol, I guess U.S. interest has been peaked. I don't think this is a bad thing in the slightest...in fact...it's about time! Our American Idols are promoted overseas! How come UK winners aren't? Well...I suppose that's all different now...Leona Lewis has done alright for
Westlife's Brian McFadden Hopes to Crack America with New Electro-pop Album
Irish pop singer Brian McFadden (and former member of Westlife) has his sites set on America. McFadden has abandoned his boy band ballad sound and gone full on electro-pop with his new album Wall Of Soundz and I'm surprisingly on board with this transformation (if only his fiancee Delta Goodrem would do the same!). The album was released in Australia back in April where it peaked at #27. First
Katie Melua and William Orbit Talk 'The House' on BBC Breakfast
I'm thrilled that the blogosphere is as crazy about the new Katie Melua material as I am. Thanks to The Prophet Blog for posting this new insightful interview with Melua and William Orbit on the BBC Breakfast morning show. In the interview, Orbit explains what brought the two together and surprisingly, Melua sought him out and he was intrigued. According to Orbit, Melua sent him 5 tracks and
Janelle Monáe WOWS Letterman Audience with 'Tightrope' Performance
I LOVE Janelle Monáe. LOVE. What a talent! This young lady made her network television premiere last night on The Late Show with David Letterman, performing her single "Tightrope" (minus Big Boi). Monáe held her own, delivering a standout performance. She sang her heart out and danced her ass off. I love that Diddy (AKA "Sean") makes an appearance at the end of the performance. Way to support
Rachel Stevens Plots Musical Comeback
Digital Spy reported yesterday that former S Club 7 star and solo artist Rachel Stevens has plans to start recording again. Well this is good news! In my CD collection I have Funky Dory (both versions) and her last album, 2005's Come and Get It. I was disappointed to learn how her last album fared in the charts. When all is said and done, however, Stevens had a lot of chart success in her
Sneak Peak - Professor Green feat. Lily Allen - Just Be Good To Green
A sneak peak of the video for the Professor Green/Lily Allen collaboration, "Just Be Good To Green" has been released and it looks...interesting. Lily Allen looks (and sounds) fantastic. I'm really hoping that Lily doesn't completely abandon her music career. Both albums have been amazing (in my humble opinion) and have sold reasonably well (Alright, Still - 3X Platinum in the UK/It's Not Me,

What's In Jamie's Shopping Cart?
One day I will become fiscally responsible. One day...maybe before I'm 30 (which is coming up pretty quickly). Until that day, I will continue to support artists that I love, as well as new artists that intrigue me. Case in point, I've spent quite a bit of money on CDs over the past week. Here's what's in my goodie bag:
Sugababes - Sweet 7: Still not sure if I'm 100% on board with Sugababes

Hot New Artist: J786 - Electro-Pop with a Heart
Well this is cool! IAG Entertainment and Starbug Records are unveiling the future of pop music with their new electro-pop singer/songwriter J786. Pegged as the "Pop Act of the 21st Century," J786 is working on his debut album, tentatively set for a summer 2010 release. With production from the highly sought-after producer RedOne (Lady Gaga, Akon) and the Grammy-winning Joel Numa (Anastacia,

Well this was unexpected. Countess LuAnn de Lesseps, of Bravo's Real Housewives of New York City fame, has signed to indie dance music label Ultra Records! Ultra is home to dance artists such as Kaskade, Benny Benassi, Ferry Corsten, and Paul Oakenfold to name a few. According to E! Online, the Countess sealed the deal with Ultra on Wednesday. Her first single, "Money Can't Buy You Class" was
New Kylie Single to be Released 2 Weeks Earlier than Expected!
And just when I thought things couldn't get any better...I get ANOTHER Kylie Minogue press release. Originally set for release on June 29th, Kylie's new single "All The Lovers" has been moved up 2 weeks and will now be released digitally on June 15th in the U.S.! EEEE!!!According to the press release, the release has been brought forward "due to demand around the world." Apparently, after
WAWA and Michael Woods to Remix New Kylie Minogue Single
Sorry for the abundance of Kylie posts this week (you don't mind, do you??!) but I've just found out who's doin' the remixes for the single's June 28th UK release. We have...dum dum dum...WAWA & MMB, Michael Woods and XXXChange. Now I don't know who MMB and XXXChange are but WAWA and Michael Woods are both dope remixers. I cannot WAIT for these remixes to surface. Hopefully her U.S. label
Calling 'All The Lovers'! Kylie Minogue is Back!
While I didn't wake up at 3 AM to hear the new Kylie Minogue single live, I sure as hell listened to it as soon as I was in front of a computer! "Proper Kylie is back back back!" "All The Lovers" premiered on the Chris Moyles show on BBC 1 Radio this morning in the UK and WOW. I love it. Kylie sounds better than ever in what seems to be a proper return to form here. I must admit I still love

Well this is exciting news! Kylie's new single, "All The Lovers" will be premiered tomorrow on the Chris Moyles Show on BBC Radio 1 at 8 AM London Time (3 AM Eastern Time). I'm pretty sure that tomorrow will be a gym day and I won't be waking up at 3:00 AM...but who knows. I am BEYOND excited about Kylie's new album so maybe I'll be inspired.

Hot Video Alert: Train - If It's Love
VH1 TV Shows | Music Videos | Celebrity Photos | News & Gossip
Who would have thought that I'd be interested in Train after all these years? I saw them way back in college when they opened for...someone? Don't remember if they opened for Ben Folds Five...or if they were opening for Bela Fleck and the Flecktones? I'm pretty sure it was the former...but I digress. That year they were revelling
Hot Video Alert: Alicia Keys - Unthinkable (I'm Ready)
Alicia Keys seems to be churning out single after single from her latest album The Element Of Freedom. The latest single is "Unthinkable (I'm Ready)" and this video tells a serious story. While I love a good sexually exploitative video as much as the next guy, what I love more is a video that tells a good story. Keys looks absolutely stunning and the video's storyline is all about an
Hot Video Alert: Florence + The Machine - Cosmic Love
I have been loving Florence + The Machine's album for only a few months. I honestly don't know why I was so late with this one...I think it had something to do with the band's name and album artwork. It looked like an alt. rock band, and while I have a special place in my heart for that genre of music, I don't often seek it out. Florence + The Machine is different though. Turns out,
Hot Video Alert: Ke$ha - Your Love Is My Drug
It's the new Ke$ha video for "You're Love Is My Drug." I love it! It's whimsical and fun and part cartoon. Not generally a fan of cartoon videos (see Britney Spears' video for "Break The Ice") but this one is different. It combines live action footage and animation.

Hot Video Alert : Craig David - All Alone Tonight (Stop, Look, Listen)
Speaking of sexy men, British R&B crooner Craig David is back with the second single off of his new album, Signed, Sealed, Delivered. "All Alone Tonight (Stop, Look, Listen)" follows the album's first single, "One More Lie (Standing In The Shadows)" which sampled "Standing In The Shadows Of Love" by the Four Tops. This new single samples "Stop, Look, Listen (To Your Heart)" by The
Hot Video Alert - Robin Thicke feat. Snoop Dogg - In The Morning
Oooh Robin Thicke. You're so dreamy. The video for his new Snoop Dogg-assisted single, "In The Morning" was premiered on VEVO yesterday. While I much preferred previous single, "Rollacoasta" featuring the vocal stylings of Estelle, this isn't half bad. Throw Thicke's smooth-as-silk vocals on any track with Snoop Dogg and I'm sold.

Cyndi Lauper is 'Just Your Fool' - New Single Artwork Unveiled
Thanks to my friend over on Pop In Stereo for posting the single artwork for Cyndi Lauper's new single "Just Your Fool," due for release on May 18th. "Just Your Fool" is the first single off her upcoming new album, Memphis Blues (out June 22nd). I'm loving this artwork campaign. Cyndi looks amazing. Check out Pop In Stereo and listen to an album track, "Early In The Mornin'." Wow. Cyndi really
Hot Song Alert : Dido - Everything To Lose
New Dido! Finally! I talked previously about her new song, "Everything To Lose," featured on the soundtrack to the new Sex and The City movie. It's a return to form for Dido, bringing back the dance sound that made her popular with her No Angel album. I am really LOVING this song! I still think I need to give her last album, the poor-selling Safe Trip Home a chance. I'm glad she's back to the

Nikka Costa To Release New Single!
I've loved singer Nikka Costa ever since I first heard "Like A Feather." Now - she's signed to Go Funk Yourself/Stax Records since 2008 from which she released her last album, Pebble To A Pearl. Now, according to a new blog post Nikka's got a new website, single and tour coming soon...a tour in Germany at least. Hopefully we'll get some more goodies soon, including info about some U.S. tour

Hot Video Alert - Pixie Lott - Turn It Up
I LOVE Pixie Lott. This is the video for her new single, "Turn It Up." Pixie looks amazing, as always. I love the choreography...nothing groundbreaking but super cute nonetheless. I'm still hoping she takes a crack at a U.S. pop music career. She's fresh faced and super talented.

Sarah McLachlan Unveils 'Laws Of Illusion' Album Artwork
The album artwork for Sarah McLachlan's new album Laws Of Illusion was unveiled today and...wow. Sarah looks ABSOLUTELY stunning. Laws Of Illusion will be McLachlan's first album of new material in 7 years, released on June 15th via Arista Records. Concert Review: Daniel Merriweather
Understated and underrated. Those are two words I would use to describe Mr. Daniel Merriweather. The people at his label, J Records/Sony Music were nice enough to send me to review the show and I have to say I was left wanting more. More of Daniel Merriweather.
The evening started out with me casually walking up to the "Will Call" window, and saying - "I'm on Daniel Merriweather's list." I
